     The book PARRISH was written by June J. Parrish of Adel, GA and was first published in 1948.  Revised in 1992 by Allen J. Parrish, the book is 410 pages and lists the family genealogy of four Parrish brothers:

• ·         Henry Parrish

• ·         Joel Parrish

• ·         Ansel Parrish

• ·         Absolom Parrish

    These brothers were sons of Henry Parrish (1740) and grandsons of Joel Parrish (1700).   Also descendants of Henry Jackson Parrish, son of Hezekiah a brother of the four brothers listed above, grandson of Henry.   This site documents the Henry Parrish line as he is one of my direct descendants.  If your interested in the PARRISH book you can purchase a copy from:

The only other 'PARRISH" book I am aware of is called The Parrish Family, written by Scott Lee Boyd, published in 1935.  The book is 413 pages and was reprinted in 1998.   The contact for this book is:
